Designation



Assign designation (post) to your employee, and create a hierarchy of designations. Let the Principal manage the teacher profile and Teachers manage their subordinates.


To Add New Designation:

Click on ‘Add New’ tab which is on the top-right hand side of the page title bar – “Add New Designation” to add a new Designation, refer figure:7, a screen will be displayed, refer figure:8, enter the data in respective form fields.


Note: System Admin will already be added in the Designation by Default. The “Add New tab”, is on the top-right hand side of the page title bar – “Add New Designation”, and Data Table View is displayed with different columns of data.

Name: Enter a name for the Designation

Enable or Disable Is Teacher Employee option: Enable if the teacher is an employee or else disable it.

Employee Category: Categorize employees into multiple categories for example "Teaching Staff", "Faculties", "Non-Teaching Staff", "Hostel Staff", "Cleaning Staff" etc.

Top Designation: Choose the Top Designation from the drop-down list required.

Description: It is to give description to the Designation, in detail. If this field is left empty, in the data table view, the description column will be empty, refer figure:14. This field is optional.

After the required information is entered, click ‘Save’, “Designation Added", green popup screen will be displayed on the bottom right hand side of the screen, refer figure:32.

Once the Designation is saved, all the added Designations, information can be viewed at one place, at front–end, in data table list View, refer figure:33 – Data table View.

Name: Displays name for the Designation

Edit Designation:

To edit the Designation, click Edit Enquiry Type icon and a screen will be displayed to Edit Designation. Fill the required information, to do the changes to the form fields. Once done, click ‘update’, to save the changes. “Designation updated”, green popup notification will be displayed on the bottom right hand side of the screen.


Delete Designation:

To delete , the saved Designation, click delete Delete Enquiry Type icon and a pop up screen comes up, asking for your confirmation Delete Enquiry Type to proceed with the request, click, continue, to delete the data or click close to go back to the data table view. Data will get deleted from the database and it cannot be retrieved again.

You can use, Sort By List and more options - Print and Generate PDF, to view and print, the displayed data table, according to your requirements.
