Exam Term



This Module, helps to create and track all exam terms, do a follow-up and so you would not miss any exam term record.
An Exam term , is an exam given near the middle of an academic grading term, or near the middle of any given quarter or semester. Midterm exams are a type of formative assessment, to measure students' grasp of the course materials and identify areas that need work. Midterm exams may also be used for summative assessment to contribute to final grades. and use it while creating an Exam term.
Define and manage exam term, generate report cards.


To Add New Exam Term:

Click on ‘Add New’ tab to add a new Exam Term, refer figure:4, a screen will be displayed, refer figure:5, enter the data in respective form fields.

Name: Enter a name for the Exam Term

Course Group: Select course group from the drop down list for the specific exam term.

Description: It is to give description to the Exam Term, in detail. If this field is left empty, in the data table view, the description column will be empty, refer figure:7. This field is optional.

After the required information is entered, click ‘Save’, “Exam Term Added", green popup screen will be displayed on the bottom right hand side of the screen, refer figure:6.

Once the Exam Term is saved, all the added Exam Terms, information can be viewed at one place, at front–end, in data table list View, refer figure:7 – Data table View.

Name:Displays name for the Exam Term

Course Group:Displays Selected course group from the drop down list for the specific exam term.

Description: It is to give description to the Exam Term, in detail. If this field is left empty, in the data table view, the description column will be empty, refer figure:7. This field is optional.



Add New Exam Term Tab

If you have already added an Exam Term, from the middle of the screen, the “Add New tab”, will get shifted to the top-right hand side, of the page title bar – “Add New Exam Term”, and Data Table View is displayed with different columns of data.


Edit Exam Term

To edit the existing Exam Term, click Edit Exam Term icon and a screen will be displayed to the Edit Exam Term. Fill the required information, to do the changes to the form fields. Once done, click ‘update’, to save the changes. “Exam Term updated”, green popup notification will be displayed on the bottom right hand side of the screen.


Delete Exam Term

To delete , the saved Exam Term, click delete Delete Exam Term icon and a pop up screen comes up, asking for your confirmation Delete Exam Term to proceed with the request, click, continue, to delete the data or click close to go back to the data table view. Data will get deleted from the database and it cannot be retrieved again.

You can use, Sort By List and more options - Print and Generate PDF, to view and print, the displayed data table, according to your requirements.
