Define and manage exam assessment types, maximum mark, pass percentage etc.
Exam Assessment is a piece of (academic) work or task. There are a lot of benefits to gain from using an assignment as an assessment method. Assignments can for instance be used to test higher cognitive abilities and the application of specific skills or knowledge.

To Add New Exam Assessment:

Click on ‘Add New’ tab to add a new Exam Assessment, refer figure:8, a screen will be displayed, refer figure:9, enter the data in respective form fields.

Form Fields Description:

Name: Enter a name for the Exam Assessment

Description: It is to give description to the Exam Assessment, in detail. If this field is left empty, in the data table view, the description column will be empty, refer figure:10. This field is optional.

Note: If you have no Assessment Type to add, click the close icon , which is present right beside the Name , refer figure 9.

ASSESSMENT TYPE: Enter assessment type for exam Assessment .It used to define and manage exam assessment types, maximum mark, pass percentage etc.

Name: Enter a name for the Assessment type.

Code: Enter code of the Exam Assessment.

Maximum Marks: Enter Maximum marks for Exam assessmen

Pass Percentage: Enter over all pass percentage for the exam assessment.

Description: It is to give description to the assessment, in detail. If this field is left empty, in the data table view, description column will be empty, refer figure:10. This field is optional.

If the Assessment type is more than one type ex: Formative assessment, Summative assessment …….or any more, click Add New Assessment type Tab , and another line of same fields as above, will be added underneath. Fill the required fields in form-group section and save.

After the required information is entered, click ‘Save’, “Exam Assessment Added", green popup screen will be displayed on the bottom right hand side of the screen.

Once the Exam Assessment is saved, all the added Exam Assessments, information can be viewed at one place, at front–end, in data table list View, refer figure:10 – Data table View.

Name: Enter a name for the Exam Assessment

Add New Exam Assessment Tab:

If you have already added an Exam Assessment, from the middle of the screen, the “Add New tab”, will get shifted to the top-right hand side, of the page title bar – “Add New Exam Assessment”, and Data Table View is displayed with different columns of data.

Reorder Assessment:

To reorder the existing assessment types, click icon and a screen will be displayed to Re-order assessment types. Once done, click ‘Save’, to save the changes.

Edit Exam Assessment:

To edit the existing Exam Assessment, click icon and a screen will be displayed to the Edit Exam Assessment. Fill the required information, to do the changes to the form fields. Once done, click ‘update’, to save the changes. “Exam Assessment updated”, green popup notification will be displayed on the bottom right hand side of the screen.

Delete Exam Assessment

To delete , the saved Exam Assessment, click delete icon and a pop up screen comes up, asking for your confirmation to proceed with the request, click, continue, to delete the data or click close to go back to the data table view. Data will get deleted from the database and it cannot be retrieved again.

You can use, Sort By List and more options - Print and Generate PDF, to view and print, the displayed data table, according to your requirements.
